José Francisco Gouvêa Vieira
Mr. Gouvêa Vieira is Chairman of Ocean Wilsons Holdings Limited. Mr. Gouvêa Vieira earned a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro in 1972. He concluded his Master’s degree at the same institution in 1973. He also has a Master of Laws degree from Columbia University, New York, from 1978 and has been the managing director of Gouvêa Vieira Advogados since 1971. He has been a Director of Ocean Wilsons Holdings Limited since 1991 and Chairman of the Board of Directors since 1997. Mr. Gouvêa Vieira is also Chairman of Wilson Sons Limited and a member of the Boards of Directors of several companies, including, PSA Peugot Citroen do Brasil Automóveis Ltda and Concremat Engenharia.
Mr. Salomon is Deputy Chairman of Ocean Wilsons Holdings Limited. He received an undergraduate and postgraduate degree in law at Magdalene College, Cambridge. In 1987, Mr. Salomon joined Finsbury Asset Management, which was merged in 1995 into Rea Brothers Group, of which Mr. Salomon became Chairman. In 1999 Rea Brothers Group was taken over by Close Brothers Group when he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the investment division. He is a Director of Wilson Sons Limited, Chairman of Hanseatic Asset Management LBG, senior partner in Hansa Capital Partners LLP, Chairman of New India Investment Trust PLC, and a Director of Hansa Trust PLC .
Mr. Rozental is the founding partner of Rozental & Asociados, an international consulting firm specialised in providing political and economic advisory services to both Mexican and foreign companies. Mr. Rozental previously was a career diplomat for more than 35 years with the Mexican foreign ministry holding a number of senior ambassadorial diplomatic posts. He is a Director of Wilson Sons Limited, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ArcelorMittal Mexico and an independent Director of ArcelorMittal Brazil, and New India Investment Trust. He serves on the advisory boards of Kansas City Southern de México, EADS de México, Toyota de México and Advent International Private Equity. Mr. Rozental obtained his professional degree in international relations from the Universidad de las Américas in Mexico and his Master’s in International Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He is the author of four books on Mexican foreign policy and of numerous articles on international affairs. He has been a foreign policy advisor to Presidents Vicente Fox and Felipe Calderón.
Mr. Alex Cooper is a Lawyer by profession. He was formerly a partner at Conyers Dill & Pearman where he worked for nearly 40 years and is a member of the Bermuda Bar Association and Canadian Bar Association. Mr. Cooper is a Bermuda resident and non-executive director of a number of international companies.
Mr. Keith Middleton graduated in Accounting from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. He is a member of the New Zealand Society of Accountants. Mr. Middleton worked for a number of international companies before joining Ocean Wilsons Holdings Limited in 1996. Currently, he is the Executive Director of Ocean Wilsons Holdings Limited.
Mr Christopher Townsend is Investment Director at HAML Consulting Gmbh. Mr Christopher Townsend is aged 37 and is a qualified solicitor. He has an MA from Peterhouse, Cambridge and an MBA from London Business School. He previously worked as a principal in the investment team at Coller Capital Limited and as a solicitor at Ashurst Morris Crisp.
